Trump calls Canada joining EU a 'hostile act', threatens more tariffs on Europe

US President Donald Trump warned that the European Union could face heavier tariffs if Canadas proposed associate membership is intended to harm the United States. Calling the prospect laughable and Canada a terrible trade partner, Trump also suggested Washington could restrict trade with Europe in certain areas.
