SC refuses to defer marital rape hearing till Nov; govt to present stand tomorrow

The Supreme Court will soon review the Centre's position on the exceptions regarding marital rape. A bench will initially focus on the Union government's arguments this Wednesday. Following this session, a date will be set for the final discussions. Presently, the court is examining petitions that challenge the marital rape exception, rejecting a request to postpone the hearing until November.
