Rashmika Mandanna will portray legendary Carnatic vocalist M.S. Subbulakshmi in an upcoming biopic directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, with Anirudh Ravichander composing the music. Launched in Chennai on her 110th birth anniversary, the film will explore the life and legacy of the Bharat Ratna awardee, who made history with her 1966 performance at the United Nations General Assembly.
