Rajnath Singh meets Sri Lanka president, commits to work jointly to ensure region's safety

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh met Sri Lankan President Anura Kumara Dissanayake in Colombo. They discussed bilateral ties and regional security, peace, and prosperity. Singh conveyed Prime Minister Modi's best wishes to the Sri Lankan President. India reaffirmed its commitment to stand with Sri Lanka during crises. This marks the first visit by an Indian defence minister in 38 years.
