'Put food warning labels on the front': Supreme Court asks Centre to match international food safety standards as obesity is rising among children

The Supreme Court has asked the Centre to consider front-of-pack warning labels on junk food amid rising obesity among children. The bench questioned Indias reluctance to match international food safety standards and linked food safety to the right to life under Article 21. The court also warned of further directions.
