Parts of Kerala received over 300 mm rainfall on Aug 1: KSDMA

Kerala experienced significant rainfall, with some areas receiving up to 320 mm. Waterlogging affected roads and low-lying regions across several districts of the state. Rains caused inundation and damage to homes, prompting rescue operations. While rainfall subsided, floodwaters remained in many affected areas. Some dam water levels dropped, but others stayed in red alert status.
