PM Modi hails Rs 20,000 crore railway projects, says they will boost connectivity, cut logistics costs

The Union Cabinet has approved eight railway multitracking projects worth over Rs 20,000 crore across nine states, adding nearly 1,200 km to the existing network. Prime Minister Narendra Modi said the projects will strengthen connectivity, speed up passenger movement, add freight capacity, boost tourism and reduce logistics costs across regions.
