Modi govt destroyed 'lifeline of poor' - MGNREGA; conspired to snatch employment guarantee: Congress

Congress leader Jairam Ramesh has accused the Modi government of weakening rural employment after MGNREGA was replaced by the VB-G RAM G Act. Citing low work generation in Uttar Pradeshs Ballia, he alleged the new system had taken away the employment guarantee available to the poor.
