Misir Besra arrested: CPI (Maoist) politburo member wanted in 141 cases held in Jharkhand

Misir Besra, a senior CPI (Maoist) politburo member carrying a reward of over Rs 1 crore and wanted in 141 cases, has been arrested from Jharkhand's Dhanbad district, police said. Two other Maoists were also held during the operation, while 16 Maoists, including members carrying combined rewards, surrendered before Jharkhand Police on Tuesday.
