Kashmir an important part of India, says Sergio Gor; US to reevaluate advisories on travel to J&K

US Ambassador to India Sergio Gor, on his first visit to Jammu and Kashmir, met Chief Minister Omar Abdullah in Srinagar and said the US would recommend downgrading its travel advisory for the region. Gor cited improved security and said the move could encourage more Americans to visit Kashmir.
