John Lennon's Beatles-era guitar vanished for more than 50 years before resurfacing in a British attic; the forgotten instrument was valued at up to 647,000

John Lennons Beatles-era Framus 12-string Hootenanny guitar has made a comeback after disappearing for over 50 years. The instrument, also played by George Harrison, was used in the recording of Help! and Rubber Soul and is connected with several Beatles songs. It was reportedly passed from Lennon to musician Gordon Waller before eventually reaching its current owner.
