Jharkhand students clash with police near assembly as JPSC exam protest turns violent, talks with govt collapse

Protesting students marched towards the Jharkhand assembly after inconclusive government talks. Police used force, including water cannons and batons, as students neared the building. Several students and four policemen sustained injuries during the demonstrations and stone pelting. Student leader Devendra Nath Mahto is on hunger strike, demanding reforms and an independent probe. BJP leaders were detained while attempting to meet the chief minister for discussions.
