Insurer rejected Rs 50 lakh claim after mans death: A consumer commission has directed Cigna TTK to pay Rs 50 lakh after finding that the insurer wrongly rejected a critical illness insurance claim. The insurer has also been ordered to pay interest and litigation costs, with the commission finding no evidence to support the allegations of fraud. Cigna TTK has been given two months to comply with the order.
