Indias first LNG-powered train is here: Amit Shah flagged off Indias first LNG-powered train in Gujarat and launched railway projects worth more than Rs 1,542 crore at Sabarmati. The projects include a diesel-LNG dual-fuel train, Kavach safety system across 404 km, automatic signalling, a Rs 700 crore WAG-12 locomotive maintenance shed and the Sabarmati-Sarkhej line doubling project.
