India's defence production surged four-fold since 2014, exports hit Rs 39,000 cr, says Rajnath Singh

Over the last decade, India has witnessed a significant growth in its domestic defence production, nearly quadrupling its output. Defence exports have also flourished, hitting close to Rs 39,000 crore. The nation is on a promising journey toward complete self-sufficiency in the defence arena. A new battle tank overhauling facility is being launched at the Vehicle Factory in Jabalpur, aimed at boosting manufacturing skills and providing local job opportunities.
