IndiaRF buys machine castings maker Fine Edge for Rs 2,000 cr

IndiaRF, backed by Piramal Finance and Bain Capital, has acquired a majority stake. The machine castings maker Fine Edge Engineering was acquired for approximately 2,000 crore. This transaction represents a significant private equity investment within the engineering sector. Fine Edge Engineering manufactures critical components for automotive and industrial applications. The company operates four foundries located in Karnataka, India.
