India needs over 30 lakh crore investment for its 500 GW non-fossil fuel target. Domestic financial institutions and capital markets will fund much of this significant green-energy expansion. The nation has already surpassed 300 GW of installed non-fossil fuel capacity. Renewable energy capacity grew substantially in the first four months of FY27. Maharashtra is urged to showcase projects and attract global developers at BRESE 2026.
