A 440-acre New York mountain once became home to a Chinese-American-owned ski resort after Army veteran Joseph Tso bought and developed the property in the 1950s. The former Mt Cathalia resort welcomed minority visitors during an era of discrimination. Now, the historic property is set to join Minnewaska State Park Preserve.
