'Eye in sky': ISRO launches advanced earth observation satellite for 'strategic data'

ISRO successfully launched the 2,367-kg EOS-05 imaging satellite aboard GSLV-F17 from Sriharikota, marking its first success of 2026. The satellite, Indias first dedicated geo-orbit imaging spacecraft, will provide near real-time imagery for agriculture, disaster management and strategic applications. The mission also marked GSLVs heaviest payload to date.
