Election Commission to review action taken on decisions announced last week

The Election Commission plans to meet for a review on decisions made regarding the Special Intensive Revision of the voter list. Concerns have been raised about how the SIR process has been managed, prompting changes to the procedure. Voters will no longer need to appear for hearings concerning discrepancies in their SIR forms. Additionally, in completed SIR states, the online Form 6 for new voters will omit certain parental details.
