EC removes 17 unrecognised parties from list of registered political parties in Uttarakhand

The Election Commission has removed seventeen unrecognised political parties from Uttarakhand's registered list. These parties did not contest elections after 2019 and had untraceable office addresses. Six other parties were previously removed by the poll body for similar reasons.
