A Costa Rican mother and her 6-year-old son received a permanent home built with interlocking blocks made from around 7 tons of recycled plastic. The 2018 project brought together Habitat for Humanity Costa Rica, Procter & Gamble, Urbarium and Ekojunto to combine affordable housing with plastic recycling.
