Chennai property owners: Received a higher property tax notice? Here's what the revised GCC notice means and how to challenge it

Chennai property tax increased? Chennai property owners receiving higher tax demands need not panic. The Greater Chennai Corporation has clarified it has not raised property tax rates citywide. Revised notices have been sent only to properties found to be under-assessed or wrongly assessed, and owners have 15 days to appeal.
