Cabinet clears Rs 23,731 crore GOBARdhan biogas scheme, Rs 8,970 crore Assam highway

The Union Cabinet approved two significant projects totaling over Rs 32,000 crore. The GOBARdhan scheme aims to boost biogas production nationwide with substantial financial support. This initiative seeks to reduce India's reliance on imported natural gas for energy needs. Additionally, a four-lane highway will be constructed between Baihata Chariali and Tezpur in Assam.
