Bengal files FIRs against 4 officials on ECI directive; Chief secy sends compliance report to election panel

West Bengal has filed FIRs against four election officials as per ECI orders. A Block Development Officer was also suspended. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee affirmed the government's support for its officers. These actions follow directives from August 2025 concerning data security lapses.
