Assam Rifles jawan killed in Arunachal ambush, security forces intensify ops to arrest killers

An Assam Rifles Havildar Jankhokai Kuki jawan was killed and four others were wounded after a patrol team came under suspected militant attack along the India-Myanmar border in Arunachal Pradesh's Changlang dristrict. Security forces have intensified operations in the area following the incident. A police officer said no insurgent group has claimed responsibility but said NSCN (K-YA) and ULFA are active in the region.
