Abhishek Sharma has made history by scoring the fastest T20 International century by an Indian batter, reaching the milestone in just 30 balls against Afghanistan. His explosive knock also set a new record for the highest individual score in the powerplay in men's T20Is, while surpassing the previous Indian record held by Rohit Sharma. His 30-ball century is also the fastest by a batter from a full-member nation.
