17 killed in DR Congo air crash, top officials included

An air crash in southwestern Democratic Republic of Congo resulted in the deaths of 17 individuals. The crash occurred near Kenge in Kwango province involving a small Let 410 UVP aircraft. Among the deceased were two senior military justice officials, Joseph Mutombo and Lucien-Rene Likulia, who held high ranks. President Felix Tshisekedi has requested an investigation into the circumstances of this tragic incident.
