Why kids who always press the lift button want more than a turn

Young children often demonstrate their burgeoning independence by eagerly pressing elevator buttons, signaling their craving for control. This action mirrors their innate drive for competence and self-sufficiency in everyday activities. Parents can bolster this journey by offering safe choices within clear limits. By allowing manageable opportunities for autonomy, they nurture the child's self-esteem and initiative, ultimately shaping them into more self-sufficient individuals as they grow.
