KMC plans to store large Ganesh idols to conserve water amid El Nio conditions

The civic bodys decision is due to non-availability of water in water bodies to immerse the large idols; organisers and devotees have been urged to cooperate and install small idols, ideally between 1 and 1.5 feet in height, suitable for immersion in buckets or tubs
