Asian Games 2026: India shine as hockey team wins 19-0, shooters bag silver

India made a strong start to the 2026 Asian Games as the womens hockey team thrashed Uzbekistan 19-0, led by Deepikas eight goals. India also beat Indonesia 3-0 in womens table tennis, while Elavenil Valarivan, Sonam Maskar and Vidarsa Vinod won silver in the womens 10m air rifle team event, earning the country its first medal of the Games.
