Preeti became the first Indian boxer to reach the final in Glasgow after defeating Zambia's Catherine Mwape 5-0 in the women's 54kg semifinal on Friday. She will face Canada's Scarlett Delgado in the gold medal bout after the Canadian defeated England's Lauren Mackie 4-1 in the other semifinal.
