Djokovic wins record seventh China Open, moves one ATP title behind Federer

Novak Djokovic claimed his historic seventh China Open title when Alex de Minaur retired injured during the match, leading 7-6(3), 0-1. This victory also marks Djokovic's impressive 102nd ATP singles title, closing in on Roger Federer's record. Djokovic's unmatched performance at this event includes a perfect 34-match winning streak. While de Minaur lamented the premature conclusion, he remains hopeful for a rematch in next year's tournament.
