Gaja listing marks PE industry's institutionalisation: Gopal Jain

Gaja Alternative Asset Management's listing marks a significant step for the industry. The company is the first pure-play PE asset manager to list domestically. This listing allows retail investors indirect access to private equity investments. Gaja Alternative has committed capital of 3,200 crore as of March 31, 2026. The company raised 550 crore through its initial public offering.
