KKR deepens India healthcare bet with $1.39 billion Medicover acquisition

Global investment firm KKR has acquired Medicover India's hospital network for $1.39 billion. This acquisition marks KKR's third hospital purchase in recent years. Medicover India operates 24 multi-specialty hospitals across South and West India. The European healthcare chain will now focus its operations solely within the continent.
