Macworld The John Ternus era is entering like a wave. According to Bloombergs Mark Gurman, the Surprise and Shine iPhone event on Wednesday will kick off, the biggest run of device releases in [Apples] history, delivering a wave of fresh form factors and whole new product areas in 2026, 2027 and beyond. I say that the run actually started with the Mac Studio and Mac mini announcements about a week ago, which arent shipping until late September, so you might reason that its kind of a false start. (Im a Mac guy first, what can I say?) In any case, Gurman points out that Apple has a full release schedule for 2026 and beyond. Everything here has been previously reported, but heres a quick look at what Gurman says is coming, along with links to our coverage. Late 2026/early 2027 We have an overview of what to expect from Apple in September . Heres a summary of what Gurman reports for the rest of 2026 and the first part of 2027. iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max. Apples top-of-the-line iPhone is coming next week. Folding iPhone. Dubbed the iPhone Ultra , Apples first folding iPhone is arriving next week. Apple Watch Series 12 and Ultra 4.
