Psychology says people who change their socks every day may be following a habit their brain rarely thinks about

Putting on a fresh pair of socks every day does not automatically mean someone is unusually hygienic, disciplined, organized, concerned about germs or highly conscientious. The habit can have much simpler explanations, with factors such as climate, exercise, footwear, workplace conditions, upbringing and personal hygiene routines all influencing how frequently people change their clothing.
