8th Pay Commission news: Minimum salary of Rs 69,000 and minimum pension of Rs 45,000; what Bharat Pension Samaj recommended to 8th CPC

8th Pay Commission fitment factor: Bharat Pensioners Samaj met 8th Pay Commission officials proposing a minimum pension of Rs 45,000. They also recommended a minimum basic salary of Rs 69,000 for central government employees. The delegation suggested revising pay and pension every five years instead of ten. They also asked for quarterly revision of Dearness Allowance and Dearness Relief. Cashless healthcare facilities and a Rs 5,000 medical allowance were also requested.
