EPFO member alert: Over the past four years, inoperative Employees Provident Fund accounts have surged by eighty-four percent, with inactive balances witnessing a dramatic increase of one hundred sixteen percent. Furthermore, the average amount in these dormant accounts rose by sixteen percent. This trend indicates that many members are neglecting to file their claims after leaving service. To address this, the government is implementing steps to identify and revive these inactive accounts.
