200% return on SGB premature redemption date: Gold bond turns Rs 1 lakh investment into nearly Rs 3 lakh

The Reserve Bank of India has announced the redemption price for the SGB 2020-21 Series-XI, set at Rs 14,564 per unit. Investors seeking to redeem their bonds beforehand can do so starting August 7, 2026, after a five-year term.
