Mistaken identity? 57-year-old Gurudwara cook who was kidnapped and killed was not intended target

A Sikh temple volunteer, Avtaar Singh, was abducted and found dead in California, authorities confirmed. Officials stated Singh was not the intended target of the kidnapping, which occurred after another individual for a specific, undisclosed reason. His body was discovered nearly 100 miles from the temple where he was last seen.
