Uttar Pradesh's per capita income witnessed 3 fold rise, claims CM

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that Eastern Uttar Pradesh has emerged as a rapidly growing economy on the strength of its youth. Its people, especially the youth, have never lacked talent and hard work. Whenever they have had the opportunity, they have proven their potential. In the last nine years, the state has succeeded in tripling its economy. During this period, per capita income in Eastern Uttar Pradesh has more than tripled. He is confident that within the next three years, Uttar Pradesh will move towards becoming a one trillion dollar economy. It is not appropriate to stigmatize youth The Chief Minister was addressing News18 India's Changing Eastern Uttar Pradesh conclave in Gorakhpur on Tuesday. He said that it is not appropriate to stigmatize youth. If the talent and potential of the state's youth could not be utilized in development earlier, it was not due to the lack of youth, but rather, it was due to the system that was unable to utilize their talent. The fault lay with those who failed to provide platforms and opportunities for them to progress. When a government came to power that provided a platform for youth, opportunities were created for them in every field. As a result, today the youth of the state are proving their mettle everywhere. There was no shortage of talent, but previous governments failed to provide a platform . The Chief Minister said that at one time, a large number of people from eastern Uttar Pradesh emigrated to various countries, including Mauritius and Fiji, as registered workers. Today, their descendants hold leadership roles in many countries. Eastern Uttar Pradesh never lacked talent, but rather, lacked a proper platform. This region never received the desired encouragement. The pain of neglect during slavery is understandable. However, after independence, there was no such compulsion regarding the development of eastern Uttar Pradesh. In the last nine years, investments in Gorakhpur alone have provided employment to 50,000 youth. UP is the state with the largest youth population in the country. The Chief Minister said that Uttar Pradesh represents the largest youth population in the country. Approximately 56 to 60 percent of the state's population is young. This youth force is talented and energetic. Whenever it found the right platform, it has proven its talent. The government is working at various levels to connect youth with quality education, competitive exam preparation, modern technology skills, employment, and self-employment. For youth preparing for competitive exams, a system has been developed to ensure that financial or other factors do not hinder their preparation. Any youth can join Chief Minister Abhyudaya Coaching. It offers virtual as well as physical preparation. It provides preparation for competitive exams like UPSC, Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission, NEET, and IIT-JEE. District officials, including District Magistrates and Joint Magistrates, also devote at least an hour to Abhyudaya Coaching. The government is committed to skilling the youth. CM Yogi stated that today, the greatest need for youth is skill development. Skill development centers have been developed for this purpose. At least two ITIs in each district have been developed, connecting them with modern technology on a hub-and-spoke model. Advanced courses such as artificial intelligence, drone technology, space technology, robotics, 3D printing, and the Internet of Things (IoT) are being offered. This system is not limited to training and certification for youth. Campus selection is also available. Opportunities are also being provided for youth who wish to start their own business instead of a job. Along with schemes like PM Internship and CM Internship, a platform has been provided through
