Sohail Khan welcomed Ganpati Bappa into his home, and the idol was immersed on Tuesday night in the presence of Salman Khan and several members of the family. Salman took part in the celebrations and performed Ganpati aarti. His mother Salma Khan, Helen, sisters Alvira Khan and Arpita Khan, and other family members were also present during the festivities. The immersion ceremony was held with traditional fervour at Sohails residence. Salmans close friend Iulia Vantur was also seen attending the celebration. Dressed in an off-white suit, Iulia participated in the aarti and sought blessings from Lord Ganesha. Despite his busy schedule, Salman made time to join the family gathering. During the aarti, Arpita reportedly corrected him when he accidentally performed it in the wrong direction. Salman then continued the ritual with devotion. Following Salman, Iulia Vantur joined the prayers and performed the aarti. The actor is frequently seen joining Ganesh Chaturthi festivities hosted by family members and friends. Recently, Salman also attended the Ganesh celebrations at the Ambani familys residence. Salman busy shooting for SVC 63 On the work front, Salman Khan is currently busy shooting for his upcoming film SVC 63. A large set has reportedly been constructed in Mumbai for an action sequence. The actor is shooting alongside Nayanthara, Rahul Dev and other members of the cast. The film is expected to feature extensive action sequences, with Salman set to appear in a new look. Alongside his film commitments, Salman is also making time for Bigg Boss 20. He is reportedly shooting two Weekend Ka Vaar episodes on the same day each week. Salmans Matrubhoomi release delayed Salman Khan is also in the news over Matrubhoomi, whose theatrical release has reportedly been delayed over the certification process. Reports suggest that the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has not yet completed the films certification. One reason being discussed for the delay is the films China-related storyline. Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, Matrubhoomi is based on the 2020 Galwan Valley clash between Indian and Chinese troops.
