MrBeast Chants Jai Shri Ram at Ramayana Event, Ranbir Kapoor Explains Significance of Lord Ram (VIDEO)

Popular American YouTuber Jimmy Donaldson, widely known as MrBeast, surprised the audience at a promotional event for the upcoming film Ramayana on Saturday when he joined in a chant of Jai Shri Ram. The highly anticipated film is based on the Indian epic Ramayana and features Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Goddess Sita and South Indian star Yash as Ravana. The film is being directed by Nitesh Tiwari, known for movies such as Dangal. During the event, an audience member called out, Jai Shri Ram, MrBeast. Ranbir Kapoor then encouraged the YouTuber to repeat the chant. MrBeast responded, Jai Shri Ram, drawing cheers from the audience. MrBeast was originally expected to interact with the Ramayana team, including Kapoor, Sai Pallavi and director Nitesh Tiwari. However, the planned interaction did not take place. The programme was scheduled to start at 1:30 pm but began around 5 pm. Producer Namit Malhotra apologised to those present for the delay and attributed it to logistics beyond our control. Ranbir Kapoor Talks About Lord Ram Ranbir Kapoor also spoke about the cultural significance of Ramayana and Lord Ram. He said the epic and its central character are deeply etched in the subconscious of every Indian. Explaining why Lord Ram remains an important figure, Kapoor said, Lord Ram is someone who never tried to be hero, he is known as Maryada Purshottam, which symbolises that he is an ideal man. He is born as a Prince; he couldve had everything but he sacrificed everything to fulfil his fathers promise and for his duties. He further explained the importance of dharma in Indian culture, saying, Theres a word called dharma in our culture, which means duty, commitment to your duties. He is all a perfect man.
