Hanuman Ansh enters 100 crore club on the 5th Weekend
The meteoric rise of devotional movie directed by Vishal Chaturvedi titled Hanuman Ansh on box office continues unabated as it enters the 100 crore club on the fifth weekend. The movie released on 31st July had an opening of merely 9 lakhs but took the trade analyst by surprise after word of mouth fell in the favour of the movie. The movie produced in a meagre budget of 2 crore can now be safely termed an all-time blockbuster. The flick has registered two major milestones. First, The highest grosser in the fifth weekend by raking 45 crores, even dazzling action espionage thriller Dhurandhar could collect 35.80 crore. The earnings picked up after the word of mouth translated into the footfalls. The first week collection was a modest 90 lakhs. The week 2 collection was almost sliced to half with 46 lakhs. Generally a movie that goes downhill never peaks at boxoffice but the divine intervention of lord hanuman did the unthinkable. The third week collection ended up in 10 crore and there was no stopping. The fourth week collection was 58 crore and fifth week collection was 45 crore. Interstingly. the movie is still not exhausted in its dream run and is eyeing the 150 crore mark in the coming festive days.
