Devdutt Padikkal smashed his maiden Test century, converting his overnight 131 into a career-best 167 against Sri Lanka in Galle. The left-hander credited two years of hard work, clear plans against spin and confident footwork for his breakthrough. Padikkal also stressed staying focused after reaching 100, helping India reach a strong 460/9.
