Gautam Adani, 4 group firms settle with Sebi in minimum public shareholding violation case

Adani Group chairman Gautam Adani and his companies have reached a settlement with Sebi regarding violations of minimum public shareholding laws. They agreed to pay Rs 1.48 crore to close the matter, which stemmed from complaints filed in 2020. Although the involved parties denied any wrongdoing, Sebi will refrain from further enforcement actions unless similar issues come up in the future.
