3 years after Oct 7, Israel honours officer whose Hamas attack warning was ignored

An intelligence officer from Israel's Unit 8200 has been acknowledged for issuing multiple warnings regarding the Hamas invasion prior to the catastrophic attack on October 7, 2023. Unfortunately, those alerts went unheeded, which led to a coordinated assault from Gaza, resulting in heavy casualties and numerous hostages. This incident has led to a critical examination of the systemic shortcomings within Israel's military intelligence operations.
