UN on Strait of Hormuz: Restore and respect freedom of navigation

UN Secretary-General Antnio Guterres has expressed deep concern over recent escalations in the Strait of Hormuz following attacks on commercial ships and threats to energy infrastructure. Through spokesperson Stphane Dujarric, the UN called on all involved parties to exercise maximum restraint and resolve disputes using diplomatic channels.
