Jharkhand Minister Sudivya Kumar Sonu dies at 56

Jharkhand Minister and senior JMM leader Sudivya Kumar Sonu died following a cardiac arrest on September 6. The 56-year-old Giridih MLA held several key portfolios, including Higher and Technical Education, Urban Development, Tourism, Arts and Culture, and Sports and Youth Affairs. Leaders across party lines condoled his death and remembered his contribution to Jharkhand politics.
